Nowadays environmental problems have become one of the most urgent matters of the world. So there is a question if only the government is responsible for protection of the environment.
      To my mind, the government is responsible for the environmental protection. Firstly, they have more resources and power to improve the situation, creating new laws and rules. Secondly, I believe that it is much more inportant to spend money on solving ecological problems instead of leading constant wars. Finally, the governments of different countries are able to cooperate to improve the situation.
      However, some people will definetly say that the government is not responsible for such problems. First of all, people have worsen the environment themselves. Moreover, each person should start thinking about the ecological situation every day. We can use cars less often, stop littering in the streets and use natural resources wisely.
      Nevertheless, I can not agree with these statements. Many people do not understand that they are able to influence the situation, that is why I believe that government should introduce ecological education pragramm to raise awareness. Which is more, in most cases people start to help the environment because special laws have been established.
      To conclude, I can say that of course government will not be able to solve all ecological problems without people's help, but it is their responsibility to care about the environment and to help ordinary people understand their role in the process of saving our planet.
